Mikayla Rodriguez
Communications Manager
Mikayla Rodriguez joined CICE in 2021 after serving as the Executive Director of the Paulding Chamber of Commerce (home to the wind energy capital of Ohio) for three and a half years. While at the Paulding Chamber, she advocated for wind energy as it improved the quality of life in her community and positively impacted her members. She educated those around her on the many benefits wind energy has on the region.
Now, Mikayla tells the stories of many other chambers positively affected by clean energy across the country. Mikayla manages all aspects of CICE’s communications and outreach network including Chamber in Action pieces, social and print media, and CICE’s website, to inform chamber executives and the community around them about the economic opportunities of clean energy and highlight business leadership in the areas of clean energy, climate action, and resilience.
Mikayla is a graduate of Otterbein University in Public Relations and Political Science. She lives in Morgantown, WV with her husband Zack, their son George, and black lab Everest.
